Janelle Edge

Janelle Edge is a public policy professional dedicated to advancing equity, innovation, and civic engagement. She serves in the Executive Office of Mayor Muriel Bowser and previously worked on Capitol Hill as a Congressional Black Caucus STEAM Fellow. A two-time graduate of Florida A&M University, Janelle was recognized with the 2025 Thursday Network Luminary Award for her leadership and service. She created and currently hosts a community event called Paint & Debate, an Inclusive space for diverse perspectives, challenges bias, and encourages collaboration beyond self-interest.
