Founded in the aftermath of 9/11, the Eagle Endowment for Public & Community Service was the first student-led Endowment in the USA. We provide AU students with grants up to $1000 along with a year of dedicated mentorship aimed at leaving a lasting, positive impact. Honored as the "Top College Philanthropic Organization in the USA" (Generous U Grant Competition, 2017), the Eagle Endowment is self-funded and student-led. We rely on donations and endowment income (unlike programs that receive budget allocations from AU).
Your support goes directly to funding student grant projects that, in turn, impact the community. Like a incubator for social good, we're designed to foster and support student groups in their early planning and implementation stages. We serve as a launchpad for your visions, offering vital seed funds that empower students to embark on impactful service projects. Since our first grant cycle in 2003, we've supported over 160 community-informed projects, many of which are still creating impacts today.
