AU Women’s Club Soccer team is a close-knit group that competes in up to 10 games per semester against different teams throughout the DMV. With 2-3 practices a week with our new head coach along with team lift with our trainer once a week, we have truly transformed our club over the years! Our club placed second in our league this fall!
Fundraising will help to keep due payments low for all players, making club soccer more accessible to anyone on AU’s campus! Fundraising will help us to cover essential aspects for this team, such as the cost of travel to games, referees, and field space. With your help, we can raise funds to order new equipment, such as nets, soccer balls, cones, and other equipment to better our team and remain competitive. We also hope to purchase new uniforms for the team! Often, we have had to wear pinnies during games because we don't have an alternative uniform. With fundraising, we aim to purchase away uniforms. Fundraising also helps us cover our transportation to Regionals and other tournaments we aim to qualify for and participate in this coming semester!

Our team has been a special place for me through the last 4 years, giving me some of my best friends and the ability to play the sport I love. I am happy that even though I this will be my last year on the team, I know that these girls will always be here for me. Once a Banger, always a Banger!!"
