AU E-Sports represents over 30 individuals passionate about the world of competitive video games. In our past semester, we proudly had two teams advance to the playoffs in their respective games, showcasing the dedication and competitive spirit within our organization. We hope to raise $500 to support our members by providing them with the space, resources, and community they need to reach their goals.
Currently, we collaborate with the AU Game Center to offer a physical space on campus where our members can practice, strategize, and build stronger connections as teams. One day, we aspire to have our very own recreation center open to our members as well as other students at American University.
The money raised today will go directly toward covering travel costs, equipment upgrades, and any other expenses that help our players thrive in a competitive environment. AU E-Sports is committed to keeping our membership dues low to ensure that every student has the opportunity to compete, regardless of their financial background. Our support helps us build a stronger, more inclusive esports community at American University, while contributing to the growth of esports as a rapidly expanding field.
